Admissions Information

The following will provide information regarding Bedford County Humane Society programs offering assistance in keeping your pet at home, general information about open admission (open door) shelters, the procedure for admitting an animal and some general guidelines for admittance.

Surrender Information

We understand that there will be circumstances when you must relinquish ownership of your pet. We are here for you during this difficult time. In order to continue to be a resource for others in the community for years to come, we now require a minimum processing fee of $100.00 per surrendered animal.
